Straight grain
Straight grain is the tighter, linear face. It is listed separately from plain slice so a project can specify the figure.

AB grade
This is the middle selection. The published A-grade card says: Minor natural knots allowed. Slight color variation acceptable. Clean overall appearance. Typical use: Case furniture · Cabinet bodies · Side panels.

Quarter and rift
Quarter and rift cuts are quoted when a project specifies them. The mill lists that service as “Plain, Quarter & Rift Cut”. Those cuts are not extra rows on this page.
